In II, heredity bad in 7 cases on both sides. Somatic degeneracy apparent in 9 cases. Early life abnormal in 11 cases; weak-mindedness, 4; epileptic dementia, 2; psychoneurosis, 1; emotional excitability, 4. Hecker's symptom-complex not found neither any evidence for hebephrenic dementia. Disease character ized by its degenerate character. There are no typical processes; it is, in fact, a symptomless symptom-complex. Symptoms are mixed up and con fused but are characterized by impulsions, obsessions and convulsions.
