But it has all seven new courses to travel and some new cars to drive with as well as a some new soundtrack. Like its predecssor, it features add-ons to your car like N2O (nitrous oxide), spoilers (for speed), decals, tires (for traction), neon lights (for aerodynamics, from the body kits that are installed for the neon) and engines (for acceleration) but you need to use the money you earned from races. Unlike the first game and its spinoff, it has a new status system that the players could view their car and upgrades. Also it takes up additional credits to get upgrades. New cars include the Ford GT, Ford Mustang, Dodge Viper, Dodge Challenger, Saleen S7, Mazda RX-8, Mazda RX-7, Pontiac Solstice, and Chevrolet Camaro. Cars that were taken out are the Toyota Supra, Toyota MR2, the Mitsubishi Eclipse (and Evo), Nissan 240SX, Toyota Celica, Dodge Charger, the Chevrolet Corvette, the Pontiac Firebird and the Pontiac GTO. Like its predecssor, it features the PIN that can save your progress that you made through out the game by typing a code.
