We aspire not with Blackwood, the Edin burgh, or a host of imitators, to delight or astound you, periodically, with profound disquisitions on agitated questions in science, literature, and the arts - with tales of thrilling interest, or with essays of match less grace; but we aim to interest you in themes which, if you are act ing your part aright here, you cannot fail to be interested ind-sub jects pertaining to our rights, our interests, our progress.
