The text was written after scriptural accounts by the composer's mother Isabella Graham Parker (1839-1904). This new vocal score is a digitally-enhanced reproduction of the one first issued in 1893 by G. Schirmer, New York. Unlike so many of the on-demand scores now available, this one comes with all the pages and the images have been thoroughly checked to make sure it is readable.
