There seems to be a dispo sition abroad to diminish the very limited amount of reading that is now required in Greek and Latin. There is also a lack of due prepa ration in the Grammars, Prosody, and Construction of these Lan guages, in Grecian and Roman Antiquities, and especially in Ancient, and Modern Geography. In the Mathematics more time and practice should be devoted to problems wherein the various rules of Arithmetic are involved with more or less complexity. Unless these suggestions. Are regarded, Students will be unable to secure the peculiar advantages of an education at the University.
