Description:This book consists of three stories based on three different Jane Austen Novels. The first story, "Elizabeth Bennet meets Emily St. Aubert – and Darcy falls in love with them both," was inspired by the conversation about female accomplishments in Chapter 8 of Pride and Prejudice. I thought it would be interesting to introduce a truly accomplished woman into the company and see what effect she had on Darcy. The woman I chose was Emily St. Aubert from The Mysteries of Udopho by Anne Radcliffe. The second story, "Mr Tilney’s Tale," was developed from the gothic horror story that Mr Tilney tells Catherine on the way to Northanger Abbey. The third story is based on Sense and Sensibility.
