Description:In 1965 Prof John McIlwaine published his four-part bibliography of Neville Cardus. It was - and remains - an outstanding piece of research, fully acknowledged by Cardus who paid tribute in the 'Cricket Quarterly' that year.Prof McIlwaine listed 851 entries in the bibliography, starting with a 'Musical Opinion' article in 1916 and concluding with an essay on Sir Thomas Beecham in the Christmas 1964 edition of 'About the House'.For some years the Heritage Team at Emirates Old Trafford have wanted to bring the Cardus bibliography up to date .. so we are delighted to have completed the task. The bibliography has been updated in parts one to four and there is a new part five for 1965-2023. In addition there are 324 entries in the appendix detailing his broadcasting and writing in Australia between 1940-47.
