I wish to concentrate most of the content in the chapters that follow, in regard to the “angelic rebellion” aspect of the doctrine. The fall of man, resulting from his own sin, was after all, a result of his cooperation with a fallen angel (Satan – formerly an archangel and anointed cherub). Evil spirits, that are also referred-to in the scriptures as “demons” and “devils” are a reality and they are actively influencing earth’s human inhabitants, by the millions, each day of this current age. If God did not intend for us to have at least some understanding in regard to the origin of evil, fallen angels and man’s separation from God through sin (spiritual death), he would not have given us references to these things, in his Holy Word.
