His political prints have been exhibited internationally in prestigious museums, including the Palais de Tokyo Contemporary Art Museum in Paris and the Marin Museum of Contemporary Art in California. Barnwell has been in over sixty exhibitions in galleries across the country and around the world. His prints are in private collections in all fifty US states and in fifty-one countries around the globe, and they are in the permanent collection of the Center for the Study of Political Graphics in Los Angeles and the Haupt Collection in Berlin.Capital Offenses is an oversized art book, measuring 11 x 11". This edition is a ten-year retrospective of Barnwell's political prints, and is lavishly produced. Its 140 pages are filled with 181 images, and is hardbound in green cloth with gold foil stamps.
