The Foundation’s mission is to support the development of an open, democratic society in Poland and other Central and East European countries. In its current activities the Foundation focuses on improving the quality of Polish democracy, enhancing the role of civic institutions in public life as well as developing international cooperation and solidarity. The Foundation engages chiefly in grant distribution to nongovernmental organisations as well as runs several in-house programs.
