Li and his army sneaked into deep mountains, keeping living with painstaking effort and they wanted to rally forces again. Later they entered Henan, occupied Luoyang, attacked Kaifeng, defeated Xiangyang, captured Tongguan and then arrived in Xi'an and conquered Taiyuan, so Li and his army were invincible. In the spring of the 17th year of the Emperor Chongzhen, Li and his army entered Beijing.
