C., May 4, 5 and 6, 1922 The Eighteenth Annual Meeting of the National Tuberculosis Association was held at the First Congregational Church, Washington, D. C. on May 4th, 5th, and 6th, 1922. The meeting was called to order at 9:30 o'clock on Thursday morning by the president, Dr. James Alexander Miller. Following the address of welcome by the Hon. Charles Evans Hughes, Secretary of State of the United States (page 23) the address of the President was presented and filed for publication in the Transactions. (Page 25). The report of the Executive Office for the year ending May 1, 1922 was presented in abstract and ordered filed. (Page 35). The President presented Mr. John A. Kingsbury, Secretary of the Milbank Memorial Fund, who announced that the Fund would devote a substantial part of its income for the next five or ten years to tuberculosis work. (Page 17). The report of the nominating committee which had been appointed in March was presented by the chairman. Dr. Hoyt E. Dearholt.
