Description:Excerpt from Minutes of the Forty-First Annual Session of the Central Baptist Association: Held With Antioch Baptist Church, Elmore County, Ala;, Sept; 30th, Oct; 1st and 2nd, 1885 The Forty-first Annual Session of the Central Baptist Association, was held with Antioch Church, Elmore County, Alabama, commencing Wednesday, September 30th, 1885. The introductory sermon was preached at 11 o'clock A. M., by Eld. J. M. Johnson, Text: Isah. 52:13; Behold my servant shall deal prudently. After the sermon a recess of one hour and fifteen minutes was taken for refreshments. The body was then called to order by the Moderator, Eld. J. H. Colley. Prayer by Elder Cat Smith. Letter from the churches was then received and read by Dr. T. M. Bailey and Eld. Geo. E. Brewer. The names of the following Brethren were then enrolled as delegates from the churches, as follows: Ordained Ministers Small Caps; Licentiates, Italics. First District. Shiloh - J. F. Edwards, E. J. Bryant. Bethesda - D. S. Martin, B. F. Harris and E. Cason, Liberty - Represented by letter. Alexander City - N. M. Reed, J. P. Harrison. Mt. Zion - J. S. Jones, J. N. Fincher, J. R. Funderburk. Mt.
