They are reprinted just as they were first published except for a few corrections. Some objec tion has been made by correspondents to the article called The Illusions of War, on the ground that it is dispiriting and mawkish. I wrote it as a sermon for myself and my own more violent feelings. Chris tianity tells us to love our enemies.
