Pero, por diversas que sean las materias que habran de estudiar leyendo este libro, todas ellas merecen la atencion de ustedes, y aunque el ejer cicio principal a que estan destinadas sea el 'de que los ninos aprendan a leer bien, yo espero que ustedes comprenderan su sentido y no olvidaran los conocimientos que, junto con el ejercicio de la lectura, podran adquirir. Los dibujos que adornan este libro serviran para dar mayor interes a las lecciones, y tambien les ayudaran a comprender mejor lo que hayan leido.
