It will be necessary to elect two members of the Synodic Board 01 Missions, in order to fill the vacancies in said Board, which are about to take place. Item 12, page 43. Apportionments are made for Home Missions, Church Building Fund, Church Extension in Baltimore and Beneficiary Education, and assessments for Contingent Fund, Mercersburg College and Theological Semi nary. Item 13, page 44. Arrearages are noted on apportionments for Home Mis sions, Church Building Fund, Church Extension in Baltimore, Beneficiary Education, Harbor Missions and Bohemian Church, and on assessments for Con tingent Fund, Mercersburg College, Theological Seminary, Wichita College and Deficit of Virginia Classis. Item 14, page 45. It will be necessary to elect a member of Synod's Board of Trustees to fill the place of Elder M. E. Doll, whose term of office will end on the lst of next January, agreeably to the charter. Item 15, page 46. The complaint of Elders J. Fuss and D. S. Barnhart, of the Greencastle charge, against the action of Mercersburg Classis, in the case of Rev. G. B. Russell, is referred back to said Classis with instructions. Item 16, page 48. The Synod respectfully overtures the General Synod to take certain action, with the view of securing harmony of action in the prepara tion of Sunday-school lessons in accordance with the historical and scriptural order of the church year.
