Description:Excerpt from Journal of the American Oriental Society, Vol. 22: Second Half The reading i-ban (i, 6, 7) has not been noted.as a new reading from the fact that Mr. Thompson in 41512 rev. Reads i-dim. It is therefore inferred that in I, 6, 7 a wedge has been accident ally omitted. Briinnow, no. 8237, reads glltabi'l indicating that the final sign it was uncertain. Strassmaier (verzeie/miss, no. 8616) hesitates between the reading and it, while Pinches (iv R2 62, 73) reads u ta-bu-ku. Although Delitzsch, alf S. L. 73, reads su-ta-bu-u without any indication of uncertainty, I at first considered it more probable that lu was the real reading of Sc, and therefore did not insert Sutabulu In its place as though it were new. Later re ection, however, made it clear that it should be included, and it was accordingly placed among the addenda. Briinnow's doubtful reading kim (9109) is rendered certain by this syllabary.
