Description:This book, a sequel of my recently published book entitled Life is for the Living, is an attempt by me to record my own personal interpretations of life as I see them through the words of others. This is in no way whatsoever an attempt to analyze or reflect on what the authors meant. It is not meant to be exhaustive, nor is it all-inclusive, but rather a reflection of my own feelings and my own personal reactions. It is, if you will, my interpretations of life as represented by the quotations of others. I see each one as slices of life, which together have helped to produce the person I am. This is not intended to influence anyone particularly, since I firmly believe that interpretation is very much a personal journey that can only be achieved by the individual, acting alone. Slices of Life therefore, is a reflection of me and who I really am. This reflects how I think, how I feel, and above all, how I have lived.
