It is in this breadth and tolerance that her strength lies - in that power of accepting the good and refusing the evil, of atoning in her hours of calmness for the errors of her moments of agitation. But the constant confession that her dogmas are divine and her actions human, while it gives her the power of clinging to the one and reforming the other, does not ensure future perfection of action, and what has happened may happen again with the same consolation, that no wrong is irretrievable.
