Ministry that the Institute may now or hereafter possess, and any advice or assistance in connection with the production and supply of non-ferrous metals, which the Council are in a position to offer. As an indication of the direction in which the Institute of Metals might be of service to the Ministry of Munitions, it may be mentioned that the Officers and Council of the Institute would be glad to suggest the names of individual members of the Institute who, from their recognized standing in non-ferrous metallurgy, would be competent to advise upon any matters which the Ministry of Munitions might wish to refer to them. T but the Council also place at the disposal of the Ministry of Munitions the services of the Secretary of the Institute of Metals, Mr. G. Shaw Scott, M.sc., a graduate of the University of Birm ingham, and one who would be likely to be of great assistance to that Department in connection with the organization of manu facture and supply.
