Every animal is altered prior to final adoption. Adoption fees do not cover the care and maintenance that goes into each animal, but they certainly help offset some of the cost. We rely on donations from the public to help us continue to rescue. These donations can be monetary, food, leashes, toys, Frontline, and much more. New or used, we accept it all and put it to good use!BARK's Prison Dog Program has partnered with the Minnesota Correctional Facility-Lino Lakes to develop a fantastic program! Some of the BARK foster dogs are now living and being "fostered" at the prison with the inmates. Since 2013, our prison pups have been playing, training, and getting ready for adoption every day with their handlers.
