Most Advanians lived in regions around or above the tropic line on Advan. However, due to a thick all-over coat of hair, they could live in regions with below freezing temperatures. Advanians lived in large family groups, usually headed by the males. Advanians were intelligent, and they worked and interact with others on a regular daily basis. The common weight for an Advanian was 95 to 150 pounds, and their diets consisted of mainly meat. Some cultures were omnivorous, however. The Baquin were insular, bipedal humanoids notable for their flattened affects and lack of ambition. Considered stuffy and insufferably dull by most other species, the few Baquin who traveled beyond their homeworld often made their living as bureaucrats; the more adventurous among them also dabbled in corporate espionage and extortion in order to make more money. Baquin resembled average humans in most respects, but possessed several unique internal organs, mostly related to their survival in the harsh environment of their home planet. They also possessed high traces of iron in their noses, which gave them a strong sense of direction.
