It is with appreciation and gratitude that I take this opportunity to thank the citizens of Laconia for electing me as mayor. It is wonderful to think that people are still in a state of mind where a choice of candidates is the democratic way of this vast country. Their rights must still be protected and just the fact that more people voted in this biennial election proves that they are interested in pre serving this privilege of voting.
