Description:I like the idea of a book that will tell me more about different cases in criminal court and such. Fair Trials, Legal Process & Other Myths A Veteran Trial Lawyer’s Musings By Robert Frisbee is a great book in that sense.However, I found it very interesting that a LAWYER, which is considered a knowledgeable person, would write a book with swear words in it. It cheapened the content and make the reader wonder how much trust to put in what the lawyer has to say. (It did me)The stories are fine, but they have too much explicit detail that could have been summarized for the sake of the reader. The name of the insides of a woman and the private parts of a man, for example, don’t need to be mentioned so explicitly. Generalization would have been best in this case.The other thing is that when the author started his first job he told us about everyone who belonged to the firm, with many details. This is called an information dump in our day and era. It bores the reader. Instead it should have been generalized to only include more details when the partners in the firm were mentioned in the story for more that one paragraph.The jokes overheard by the author, don’t really move the story along, so they do not need to be included in it. They just serve to place this book as an adult book, thus no one of the younger set will buy it.I think that the idea is great, but the presentation needs to be critiqued by a few people to clean it up and tidy it.
