One of my favourite aspects of the art is the subtle shift in style from chapter to chapter; Frechette uses different line qualities, tonal textures, and lighting styles to set the mood for each part of the story, immersing you in the scene before you’ve even begun reading. The characters, especially our main character Louis, are real and relatable; you will find yourself engaged in their lives and their struggles, and though you may not agree with their actions, they are always understandable.
