In July 2014, a small group of cruciverbalists came together at a Facebook group called 1ACross to post and solve cryptic clues for each other. Soon, we realized how much fun can be had from social interaction in a 'solitary' pastime, what with hashtagged themed games that changed and challenged on a daily basis. Since July 2015, we began producing annual souvenirs, using original puzzles contributed by our members and sharing these within the group. As these compilations have been very well received, we wanted to introduce these to a wider audience. We are happy to bring to you our third anniversary collection of puzzles. We plan to donate all proceeds from the sales of this book to Cancer research and Cure.
