Description:In 1996 Dr. Natwar Jha, brought this highly technical book with the complete decipherment of the Indus script along with more than a hundred deciphered readings. This was short, paged book, but highly technical and difficult to digest. The Harappan Civilization, of which the seals are a product, belonged to the latter part of the Vedic Age. This has close connections with the Vedantic works like the Sutras and the Upanishads. The style of the writing reflects the short string or the aphorisms found in the Sutra works. The imagery and symbolism are strongly Vedic. The vocabulary is largely based on the Vedic glossary "Nighantu" and its commentary by Yaska known as the "Nirukta". Dr Jha demonstrated here that how the Harappan Civilization is known to the Mahabharata's. Since, the book is out of print, but demand from the readers are growing. Hence a digital version of the book as published in 1996 is created here again in original form with original hand made correction, wherever applicable.
