Description:Two Stops Short of Barking is a new pamphlet of poems and interviews by UEA alumnus Gboyega Odubanjo, the outcome of his residency at Rabbits Road Institute Library in London. It is published by The Alternative School of Economics, supported by The London Borough of Barking and Dagenham Library Service. Gboyega (pictured) gained a BA in English & Philosophy at UEA in 2017 and graduated from the MA in Creative Writing (Poetry) in 2018. His debut collection While I Yet Live was published by Bad Betty Press in 2019 and shortlisted for the 2020 OutSpoken Prize for Poetry. His pamphlet Aunty Uncle Poems was one of the four winners of the 2020 Poetry Business New Poet’s Prize and will be published by Smith/Doorstep later this year. Gboyega is an editor at bath magg, and a board member and former guest editor of Magma Poetry.
