It was the very breath that was breathed into the nostril of man that gave him life. Man formed from the dust of the earth, a man that became a living soul by the Spirit of the creator. His essence, the invariable nature and substance of God. When we observe ourselves in a mirror, we can see the reflection of who God is. The reflection of the very fabric of reality of which we exist. The fabric of reality woven together by threads of truth. And as sure as there is an absolute God who created humanity, there is an absolute truth who governs all creation. A truth that makes known all the uncertainty of this world.To really know truth, we must first identify the very foundation of truth. The Greek word for truth is aletheia, that is interpreted as, verity, or factuality. We cannot accurately define truth apart from God, the original Truth. The God of Truth (Psalm 31:5 Amplified Bible). In the Book of John, Chapter 14, verse 6. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me. These three things are the essence of who Christ is. And no one goes before God without reconciliation and relationship with the Son. There is only one way, one truth, and one life in knowing God the Father of all eternity. Just as there are the substance of three in the Trinity, there are the substance of three in the unity of faith. Those three are:1)The way or directions to truth is the knowledge of who Jesus Christ is. 2)The truth is the revelation of His divinity. Only by the Holy Spirit, the spirit of Truth can we know and experience His divinity. 3)The life is the very source of all creation, we cannot experience life without the breath breathed into mankind by the Spirit of God. A life that proceeded directly from mouth of God.This understanding of truth is supported by irrefutable evidence of the reality of creation. A sound understanding of what truth really is can only be substantiated in the biblical sense. For without the biblical perspective of truth we cannot establish a true foundation of reality. We can only see and experience reality by the substance of truth. By what is real and tangible. It is of this reality, that truth sets us free, free from the shackles of sin and unbelief. It is sin and unbelief that separates us from the Spirit of Truth. A separation as the result of transgression of God’s known will. His known will that is clearly documented by His word of truth. Truth that will free us from ignorance, arrogance, and disbelief. True freedom in a culture where common sense is not as common as it used to be. Common sense of sound and prudent judgement based on a simple perception of a situation or facts. Yet we ignore and reject facts that do not support our subjective perception of truth. A perception that give us the ability to see, hear, or become aware of something through our senses.
