His years in the Navy were dangerous but prepared him for more danger later on. His honorable discharge came and Hollywood called, then New York, Memphis, Nashville, and back to Hollywood. He lived in Hollywood and Los Angeles for more than 30 years. He wrote and recorded the song "They Slew the Dreamer". The new mix dropped recently and is bringing new light to the subject of the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. Along the way Gary Revel investigated the assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr., in association with the U.S. Government's HSCA (House Select Committee on Assassinations). Danger, intrigue, and murder followed as he began to unravel the truth and connections between the killing of MLK, JFK, RFK, and more.
