4.9/5 (23190 ratings)
Description:“I contemplated man's little spark, what it should be valued before God alongside this great work of heaven and earth.”― Jacob Boehme, The Signature of All Things 1622: As Above So BelowJacob Böhme was born in 1575 in a small village in Upper Lusatia, a territory of the Kingdom of Bohemia. The fourth of five children, he was deemed a weak and sickly child, not strong enough for farming. At 14 he was sent to the village of Seidenberg as an apprentice to become a shoemaker. Bohme would have several mystical experiences in his youth, most notable being, a vision where it was revealed to him the Spiritual Structure of the World, the relationship between God and man, good and evil. It was followed by another vision in which he further understood the Unity of the Cosmos and received a special vocation from God. Twelve years later, Böhme would sell his shoe shop and began to write the first of several books. The most notable of these is his masterwork, “Signatura rerum” or “The Signature of All Things”.The Signature of All Things explores a fundamental law of The Law of Signatures. This law is grounded in the concept that every object in the Real World has a hidden meaning, or signature and that all of these signatures interact with one another. The beginning, ruin, and cure of all lies hidden in these signatures. While Mystical Christianity is at the core of Böhme’s philosophy, he was never accepted by the Christian establishment. He faced persecution his entire life for his mystical ideas. Though underappreciated in his time, Böhme is considered to be one of Europe’s great mystics, and his book, The Signature of All Things the most influential work in Christian Mysticism and Magic. This is the complete and original text, as translated by an anonymous source. Also included in the text are Böhme’s Dialogues on the Supersensual Life – Two Dialogues Between a Disciple and His Master and The Way From Darkness to True Illumination. We have made it easy for you to find a PDF Ebooks without any digging.
